ASUS LAUNCHES A NEW GAMING MONITOR IN RATED BUDGET • ROG STRIX Series

Gaming on a glossy WOLED screen is now feasible on the 26.5-inch ROG STRIX monitor.


 ASUS has recently introduced the ROG STRIX OLED XG27AQDMG gaming display, the latest addition to the ROG OLED lineup. This monitor employs WOLED technology and is the first of its kind to have a glossy surface.

The display features a resolution of 2560×1440 and a refresh rate of 240Hz. According to the product description, the ASUS third-generation OLED screen provides a 20% brighter display, crystal-clear lettering, and reduced motion blur. The monitor comes with a bespoke heatsink for better cooling.
ASUS states that it has OLED anti-flicker technology and a 0.3 ms reaction time (gray to gray). The display is optimized for fast-paced gaming with 99% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, Delta E <2, and DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification. Similarly to Like other ASUS OLED panels, this monitor comes with a three-year guarantee for OLED burn-in concerns.

The display has various refresh rates, including NVIDIA G-Sync. It may be linked via HDMI 2.1 or DisplayPort 1.4 (which enables Display Stream Compression), but does not have DP 2.0.

The monitor has previously been advertised in China for 4999 RMB (-619 USD). Update: TFT Central reports that the monitor will cost $749 and will be available for $699 through certain shops during an exclusive deal.
